***FEATURING OUR LOVE CHOCOLATE BAR ***
Author: Jennifer Sargison
These brownies are super easy to make, delicious to eat and a much healthier version too. That’s a win-win! packed with whole wheat goodness and lots of protein thanks to the ground flax seed. We’ve used chickpea water instead of any butter or oil keeping them healthier without comprising on taste or flavour.
Have you ever used chickpea water in your baking creations before? let me know in the comments, i’d love to hear from you!
Big love, Jen…now, who’d like a slice? xx
Ingredients
DRY INGREDIENTS
50g spelt/wholewheat flour
50g oat flour
100g coconut sugar
50g ground flax seed
20g cacao powder
WET INGREDIENTS
60ml vegan milk
70g aquafaba (water from a tin of chickpeas)
GOOEY MIDDLE
2 Love Chocolate bars - chopped in half (lengthways)
(Optional drizzle of peanut butter to top once cooked and cooled)
Method
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined
Add just over half of the brownie mix to a lined cake tin (I used a 7 inch tin so it would fit in my air fryer)
Add the long slices of the Love Chocolate bars to the middle (keep a little piece of one of the ends to sprinkle on the top once cooked)
Add the remaining brownie mix and smooth until level
Bake for 10 minutes in the air fryer on 180C or for a little longer in the oven. Keep an eye on them as the topping can catch easily.
Leave to cool in the tin before slicing and enjoying.
I added a little melted peanut butter and drizzled it on top before sprinkling the spare chunk of the love chocolate bar
Mix the ingredients in a bowl then add just over half of the mixture to a small lined tin, add the Love Chocolate middle then top with the rest of the brownie mixture.
If you do make this then I hope you love it

Big love, Jen x
