Breakfast Brownie Smoothie

This is the prefect breakfast smoothie for all chocolate lovers. It has a thick consistency and tastes just like a chocolate brownie! Who says you can’t eat chocolate for breakfast?

Loaded with goodness this smoothie will fuel you until your next meal as well as satisfying those sweet cravings and the good news is it’s HEALTHY and VEGAN! What are you waiting for?


Ingredients

1 cup plant milk

Half a frozen banana

1/4 cup oats (can be gluten free)

1 Tbsp cacao powder

1 Tbsp chia seeds

1-2 teaspoons agave/maple syrup to sweeten (adjust for individual taste)

Handful of crushed ice


Method

  • Simply place all of the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend for around 1 minute.

  • Pour into a large glass and sprinkle with some chia seeds


This is my favourite smoothie and it always keeps me full up until lunch time. I also have this after a workout by adding 1 scoop of vegan protein powder (no need for the added agave/maple syrup) for that added protein boost.
