*** FEATURING OUR LOVE VEGAN CARAMEL HEART BITES ***
Author: Jennifer Sargison
If you’re anything like me then you’ll love the flavour of coffee in just about anything! These overnight oats will not disappoint, they are packed with flavour and topped with our Love Vegan heart shaped bites that complement the oats perfectly.
This delicious breakfast bowl is perfect if you don’t have a lot of time in the morning, (if you forget to make it the night before then simply mix it all up together and pop it in the fridge or freezer to chill for about 20 minutes and it will taste just as good). Perfect for breakfast, as a healthy snack or if you like to eat oats for lunch then this will be great for that too.
If you do leave this in the fridge overnight and you find the oats are a little stodgy then simply stir in a little extra plant based milk until you get the right consistency.
Ingredients
1 cup oats (can be gluten free)
Up to 3/4 cup of plant milk (the amount you need will depend on the type of oats you have, quick oats absorb more liquid that jumbo oats. Just see how you go and add more or lass until you get a nice runny consistancy)
2 shots of strong espresso
Dash of maple syrup to suit your taste
Toppings
Love Vegan caramel heart bites
Berries- use whatever is in season or frozen
Cacao nibs (optional)
Dark chocolate chips (optional)
Method
Measure the ingredients into a medium sized bowl and mix well
Pop in the fridge overnight
Add toppings in the morning and enjoy

*For those of you eating a gluten free diet because of a gluten intolerance/allergy to gluten or suffering from celiac disease please check the ingredients listed in my recipes carefully. Although many of my recipes are gluten free please make sure you double check your ingredients to check. I am not intolerant to gluten so am no expert but I still like to provide GF options, please fully read your packets at home before making this, thank you :)
