It’s pumpkin season and that means one thing…pumpkin lattes! Very popular in coffee shops but also so easy to make at home. You will need to make your own pumpkin puree before hand - find the recipe here if you need it. It is so simple though, roasting a pumpkin then scooping out the flesh and mashing or popping in a blender until puréed.
Get ready to snuggle up and enjoy some warming spice :)
Ingredients
1 cup vegan milk
1 tbsp pumpkin puree
1 tbsp agave syrup
Few drops vanilla essence
1/4 tsp pumpkin spice or mixed spice (plus extra for sprinkling)
2 shots espresso or about 1/4 cup strong coffee
Method
Add the milk, pumpkin puree and agave syrup to a small pan and heat until hot (do not boil or the vegan milk may curdle)
Remove from the heat and whisk in the vanilla and spices
Pour into a mug and sprinkle with a little more spice
