Hidden Greens Cacao Smoothie

This is one of my favourite smoothies as it’s really hits that sweet spot but it’s also really filling and healthy. I like to enjoy this for breakfast or even lunch and it always keeps me going until my next meal. The added Love Vegan bar at the end is a lovely touch as it adds that indulgent cacao hit.

Ingredients

1 cup plant milk

1/4 cup coconut cream (from a tin)

1 portion frozen spinach or a large handful of fresh

1/2 large avocado

2 large medjool dates

1 tbsp cacao powder

2 x Cacao and Cashew Love Vegan by Jennifer bar (details on how to buy below)

To top

1 cacao and cashew Love Vegan by Jennifer bar


Method

  • Place all of the ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth (this may take 2 x blends)

  • Pour into 2 small glasses

  • Chop the 2nd Love Vegan bar in half (lengthways) and pace into the smoothie

  • Sprinkle with cacao powder to garnish
