If you’re looking for a healthy milkshake that taste just like a snickers then you’ve come to the right place. This milkshake is naturally sweetened and packed with hidden healthy ingredients, yet still taste incredibly indulgent. I like to enjoy this with one of our Love vegan high protein bites for tasty and filling breakfast or snack.

I use the water from a tin of coconut water as a base for this milkshake, I use a lot of coconut milk in my cooking and often use just the cream. When this happens I use the watery part of the tin for smoothies and milkshakes the next day, you can also freeze this in individual portions and blend from frozen when you need it. I LOVE using up my leftovers! If you don’t have any coconut water then simply add more plant based milk :)

Please watch my instagram video to see how I made this

Ingredients

1 cup of coconut water (from a tin)

Half a cup plant based milk

3 dates

Half a banana (frozen works well)

1 portion frozen spinach (or a large handful of fresh)

1 tbsp cacao powder

1 tbsp peanut butter

To serve

2 x caramel Love Vegan bars

Method

  • Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until completely combined

  • Serve in tall glasses over ice

  • Slice the love vegan bars in half (lengthways) and pop inside the smoothie reserving some to sprinkle on top
