Tahini and avocado smash

Take your avocado smash to the next level with this deliciously moreish tahini and avocado smash. A perfect accompaniment to any lunch dish or simply smother it onto your favourite toasted bread. tasty, simple, good food :)


Ingredients

1 ripe avocado

2 tbsp tahini

Pinch of chilli flakes

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds and other mixed seeds to top


Method

  • Carefully remove the avocado flesh and place it into a bowl

  • Using the back of a fork mash the avocado until it has formed a lumpy mash

  • Add the tahini, chilli flakes, salt and pepper and mash again until creamy and mostly smooth (a few lumps are nice for consistency)

  • Have a taste and add more chilli flakes or seasoning to suit your taste buds
