This simple satay sauce is so easy to make using only six ingredients and one bowl. It is perfect with some tofu kebabs, as a dip or thinned out and used as a drizzle over your favourite salad. I hope you love it.

Ingredients

3 tbsp smooth peanut butter

1 tbsp soy sauce (low salt)

1 tsp curry powder

1 tsp agave/maple syrup

Coconut cream*

5 tbsp water (you may need more if the mixture is too thick)

*Using ONLY the cream from the top of 1 tin of coconut milk (FULL FAT) Make sure you don’t add the water underneath the cream. I like to save the water to add to a smoothie for breakfast the next day or freeze it to use for another day.

Method

  • Simply add all of the ingredients to a bowl and mix together until smooth

  • If it doesn’t combine easily (sometimes the peanut butter is very thick) then you can gently heat the mixture and then mix it together

  • Add more water until you reach your desired consistency

If you do make this then I hope you love it
