Life is busy!

I haven’t been active on social media for over a year now! I am still working hard on my business Love Vegan and I have also started working full time as the manager in my local nursery. Working with children is something I’ve done my whole life and going back to working with young children has brought so much fun and laughter into my life. As I’m so busy, busy, I have been prioritising my own mental health and doing everything I need to do in order to get the perfect balance in my life.


I have always been a big fan of yoga and meditation and over the past couple of years these practices have helped me massively. I’ve also developed a love for ice baths and saunas and find they also give me peace and the ability to rest my mind.

My daily routine

With grown up children, a dog, a business and a full time job, life is busy! I wake early at around 6am and have a cup of tea followed by a gentle yoga stretch. I then walk my dog for an hour, this is the most important part of my day and gives me a feeling of calm and also a nice energy boost for the rest of the day. I’m lucky to live in the country so being in nature every day makes me feel very lucky. My morning routine is my priority and this healthy habit sets me up.


After my walk I shower, have a coffee and some breakfast before my day at nursery begins. After a fun and busy day at work I come home, prep dinner and catch up with my Love Vegan work. After dinner with my children, and another quick walk with my dog Bella, I unwind in my ice bath followed by a sauna. The ice bath brings instant peace and whilst I’m in the sauna I practice meditation, which is usually a mantra.

My days are super busy however, I’ve learnt that my healthy habits of waking in nature, good wholesome foods and time to practice something that brings calm to my mind is vital to develop and maintain balance in my life.

I make sure that at the weekends, and when I’m off work for the half term holidays, I catch up with family and friends, maybe attend a gym class, practice lots of yoga and make time to enjoy making delicious and wholesome vegan foods.
