*** FEATURING OUR LOVE VEGAN BARS ***
Author: Jennifer Sargison
These tasty almond butter and jam bites are made using our Love Vegan bars all squashed together with almond butter and jam to create a filled bite that taste great. You can fill the balls with what ever fillings you like. Chocolate spread, peanut butter, lotus biscuit spread and other nut butters. They all complement our Love Vegan bars perfectly. We now have seven different flavour of love vegan bars so you’ll be spoilt for choice - just use your favourite. (You can buy a mixed case here to find your favourite)
Ingredients
5 Love Vegan bars
2 Large spoonfuls of your favourite jam
2 large spoonfuls of almond butter (or nut butter of your choice)
Small bowlful of vegan chocolate drops or a large bar of vegan dark chocolate (Cadbury’s Bournville is a good choice)
Method
Add the love vegan bars to a food processor and blend for about 30 seconds
Using your hand roll out 15 small balls (or bigger if you prefer)
Cut each ball in half using a sharp knife
Use your finger to make a small hollow in each half so you have a small well to place the filling
Pop jam in one half of the ball and nut butter in the other
Close the balls back together and smooth the edges using your finger
Once all the balls have been created melt the chocolate either in the microwave on in a glass bowl over a simmering pot of water.
Dip each ball into the chocolate using two folks to hold the ball to make it easier
Allow the balls to set
Any left over chocolate can be used to coat some strawberries
