Raw buckwheat groats breakfast bowl

Full of flavour and bursting with nutrition, this breakfast pot makes you feel good from the inside out.


Ingredients

To soak overnight

1 cup raw buckwheat groats

40g almonds

To blend in the morning

50g tahini

250g fresh strawberries

2 tbsp maple syrup

To top after blending

Fresh strawberries

Dried strawberries

Chia seeds

Cinnamon

1 cherry Love Vegan bar


Method

Step One

  • Place the groats and almonds in a bowl and cover with fresh water overnight

Step Two

  • Rinse the groats and almonds once they have soaked overnight. Do this 3 times with fresh, cold water

Step Three

  • Add the groats, tahini, strawberries and maple syrup to a food processor and blend until the mixture resembles a porridge consistency - you may add a little water if the mixture is too thick

Step Four

  • Divide the strawberry mixture between 4 bowls

  • Top with the topping ingredients or feel free to add your own favourite toppings.

The mixture will stay fresh in th reforge for up to 3 day but best eaten on the day of possible.
